About the Role

This permanent position comes with a competitive salary range of $109,727.67 - $120,809.49 + Super, providing a stable financial foundation for your career growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing non-workers' compensation claims, developing policies to minimize costs, coordinating insurance renewals, and providing budget estimates.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough claim investigations to identify potential risks and implement mitigating strategies.
  • Analyze claims data to identify trends and develop targeted initiatives to reduce risk exposure.
  • Negotiate claim settlements with insurers to minimize Council's liability and property risks.
  • Deliver training programs to staff on policy compliance and risk awareness.
