About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Risk and Compliance Specialist to join Laing O'Rourke in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney. As a Risk and Compliance Specialist, you will report to the Head of Risk and Assurance and maintain and manage the risk and compliance frameworks, providing guidance to the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed risk and compliance frameworks across all bids and projects.
  • Conduct independent operational reviews to provide assurance to leadership on project progression and potential risks.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement in risk management.
  • Maintain the compliance framework and program, including conducting business ethics audits and reviews.

About You

  • Minimum of three years' experience in risk and compliance or project delivery, preferably in the construction and engineering industry.
  • Experience working in a large and complex organization.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and policies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
