As a Responsible Sourcing Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our human rights agenda within the organization. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering parental leave, and can be based anywhere in Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Social compliance support within the supply chain, aligned with our Responsible Sourcing Policy and Standards
  • Data-driven reporting and dashboard creation for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting human rights risks and trends
  • System improvements to innovate and bring efficiencies
  • Liaising with stakeholders, including commercial and sourcing teams, social compliance schemes, and suppliers, to embed human rights priorities and risk mitigation processes
  • Corrective action and remediation of non-conformances arising from social compliance audits
  • Uploading social compliance audits and maintaining systems
  • Contribution to internal and external reporting obligations within the Human Rights team

We're looking for an experienced professional with:

  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, with experience working with pivot tables, data interpretation, and actionable insights
  • Prior experience in responsible sourcing/human rights, compliance, or auditing, with knowledge of global and domestic supply chain issues
  • Experience working with the food industry is advantageous
  • Understanding audits and remediating non-conformances, identifying trends, and recognizing risk indicators in responsible sourcing programs and global supply chains
  • Demonstrated ability to work with third-party certifiers and/or audit schemes
  • A strong understanding of influencing others, managing emotions, and driving positive outcomes
