Job Title: Credit Risk Modeller

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Modeller to join our team at BeathChapman Pte Ltd. As a Credit Risk Modeller, you will be responsible for building and enhancing existing credit risk models to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement credit risk models to assess the likelihood of default for both retail and corporate portfolios.
  • Retrieve and manage large datasets from various systems and sources, performing detailed analysis to identify trends and patterns.
  • Provide recommendations to internal stakeholders to optimize portfolio performance and manage credit risk.
  • Ensure all modelling processes, decisions, and outcomes are accurately documented and communicated.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing credit decisioning and risk management processes.
  • Collaborate with the project team to recalibrate IRB credit risk models for Basel III requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role with expertise in SAS, Python, SQL, Java, R, or Matlab.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or information sciences.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
