About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst to join our team at AltX Group. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the credit function that underpins our business offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Loan Application Review: Review and assess loan applications to ensure they meet our credit policies and procedures.
  2. Due Diligence: Undertake thorough due diligence on loan applications, including reviewing financial and legal documents.
  3. Financial Analysis: Analyze and validate supporting documents, including financial statements, tax returns, and valuation reports.
  4. Searches and Investigations: Conduct and interpret searches on companies, guarantors, and title holders.
  5. Credit Submissions: Prepare and present credit submissions to the Credit Committee, including recommendations and supporting documentation.
  6. Pipeline Management: Manage the pipeline of incoming loan submissions on a day-to-day basis.
  7. Loan Instructions: Prepare loan instructions and liaise with solicitors to ensure loans are instructed efficiently.
  8. Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of streamlined and efficient processes.
Requirements
  1. Industry Experience: Experience in the banking, non-bank, and finance industries, specifically within a credit role.
  2. Knowledge of the Banking Industry: Working knowledge of the banking industry, Australian housing market, and regulatory environment.
  3. Credit Assessment Skills: Experience in credit assessments of long-term product offerings.
  4. Analytical and Numeracy Skills: Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with a high attention to detail.
  5. Communication Skills: Ability to write clearly and concisely, with excellent communication skills.
  6. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
