Credit Risk Analyst

The Credit Underwriting Analyst will be part of the Risk and Compliance organization at Nuvei Corp.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough reviews of new account applications to ensure eligibility and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies are adhered to during the underwriting process.
- Correctly interpret and apply card brand network rules to provide eligible merchant businesses with processing accounts.
- Communicate decisions and data needs with sales teams and business partners in a professional and effective manner.
- Participate in the ongoing periodic review of larger exposure merchant accounts to mitigate risk to Nuvei Corp.
- Tertiary qualification in Business or Finance.
- 1-2 years experience in a Credit Analyst role or similar in the Financial Services Industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong negotiation skills.
- Demonstrable proficiency across the MS Office suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
