Corporate Credit Analyst Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Credit Analyst to join our team at ROBERT WALTERS AUSTRALIA. As a key member of our corporate banking team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate and institutional clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a range of corporate and institutional clients, providing credit analysis and risk assessment services.
  • Originate and execute loans, including negotiation and documentation, to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Structure credit and loans for new and existing clients, ensuring alignment with our company's risk management policies.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities through collaboration with internal teams across global offices.
  • Prepare credit applications and papers, including analysis for new transactions, and undertake credit review to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage assigned accounts actively, being aware of credit deterioration or improvement, and taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a proven track record in corporate or institutional banking.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in corporate or institutional banking, with a strong understanding of credit risk management and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of bank AML/KYC requirements, with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to read and create credit forecasting models.
  • Strong credit and financial analytic skills, with knowledge of accounting and financial statements.
