Mechanical Project Engineer Role

Make a meaningful impact in the mechanical industry by leading projects with precision and innovation.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project proposals, including scope definition, engineering designs, project timelines, and budget estimates, collaborating with site production and maintenance teams.
  • Evaluate and ensure that projects align with Australian standards and internal guidelines.
  • Effectively manage internal resources, external contractors, and coordinate changes to scopes, deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve queries arising during project execution.

About You:

  • Hold a Mechanical Trade Certificate and an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or relevant qualifications, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical role.
  • A thorough understanding of the Workplace Health & Safety Act and associated Australian Standards is essential.
  • Proficiency in mechanical and process design software, including AutoCAD, is required.
  • Experience in fluid-based mechanical systems, such as complex hydraulics, thermodynamics, and pumping system development, commissioning, and fault finding, is desirable.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft applications and Maintenance Management systems is necessary.
  • Hold Full working Rights for Australia and an Australian Drivers License.
