Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Building Services team in Brisbane as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing mechanical services systems and the ability to coordinate and understand relevant building services disciplines.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide mechanical design expertise on single and multi-disciplinary projects, deliver best practice outcomes for clients, and take lead on small to medium size engineering design projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide mechanical design expertise on single and multi-disciplinary projects
  • Deliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time
  • Take lead on small to medium size engineering design projects and support larger projects
  • Communicate effectively with all external and internal stakeholders and project teams

Requirements

  • Hold a recognized tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing mechanical services systems (air conditioning, heating, and ventilation)
  • Ability to coordinate and understand relevant building services disciplines, including Electrical, Hydraulic, Fire Protection, and Environmentally Sustainable Design
