About this Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will play a vital role in delivering multi-disciplinary projects within the water and wastewater industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing designs for mechanical, structural, and process systems using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
  • Carrying out CAD work and design drafting, including the preparation of design and fabrication drawings
  • Attending project sites to assist with 3D laser scanning, setout activities, or site investigation work to support accurate design and project delivery
  • Producing and reviewing designs using CAD software
  • Assisting with project management activities and supporting the delivery of engineering projects
  • Participating in site visits to gain practical, hands-on experience
  • Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to achieve high-quality engineering outcomes

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification
  • Strong academic performance and demonstrated achievement in studies
  • Engineering exposure, either through previous industry experience or university projects
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
  • Australian working rights
