Job Opportunity: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to contribute to our dynamic team at the forefront of multiple exciting digital transformation programs aimed at modernising core systems, enhancing customer experiences, and streamlining business processes.

This role offers the opportunity to work with contemporary technology stacks and innovative solutions to drive meaningful change across the organisation. You will play a key part in shaping the future of digital services and contributing to impactful projects that make a difference to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create comprehensive test plans, detailed test cases, defects, traceability matrices, and test summary reports.
  • Analyse business requirements, user stories, and system solutions to ensure seamless integration.
  • Provide superior testing competencies to ensure testing is efficient and completed in time using planning skills and working with assigned teams.
  • Design and execute automated tests for assigned work in an efficient and productive manner to ensure testing is delivered to quality and within time parameters.
  • Execute functional, non-functional, and regression tests as applicable.
  • Develop excellent communication skills to manage customer expectations and foster collaborative relationships.
  • Proactively identify issues and drive improvements in QA processes to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Coach and support other Quality Assurance Engineers to promote knowledge sharing and growth.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in designing effective test strategies/plans tailored to project goals.
  • Extensive experience in both manual and automated testing, including proficiency in defect management.
  • Experience with popular automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber.
  • Proficient in API automation testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured, and data identification/extraction with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub, and performance testing with tools like Jmeter.
  • Knowledge of Accessibility and compatibility testing, as well as experience with cloud technologies.
  • Strong experience in QA planning, co-ordination, and execution within an Agile environment.
