Restaurant Manager Opportunity in Melbourne

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of a beautiful Melbourne city rooftop venue.

The ideal candidate will have proven passion for the industry, excellent leadership skills, and experience in managing high-volume, upscale dining establishments.

About the Role
  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service to guests and maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality.
  • Manage and train staff to provide top-notch service, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead by example, motivating and inspiring the team to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Daily Operations: Ensure seamless execution of restaurant services, including menu management, inventory control, and supplier relationships.
  2. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  3. Customer Service: Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  4. Labor Cost Control: Monitor and optimize labor costs, rostering, and POS systems to maximize efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in an upscale, high-end restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of success in driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, suppliers, and customers.
  • A solid understanding of costings related to running a busy restaurant, including inventory management and labor optimization.
