Job Overview:
MPC Kinetic is a leading provider of essential infrastructure services and solutions. We are seeking an experienced HSE professional to join our team on a long-term project in Brisbane, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and continually improve project-specific HSE systems, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Provide expert HSE guidance and support to site leadership, supervisors, and workforce.
  • Conduct assurance activities ensuring overall compliance to HSE systems, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Promote safety engagement and accountability at all levels through training, toolbox talks, and visible field leadership.
  • Monitor contractor HSE performance and ensure alignment with company expectations.
  • Establish and maintain disciplined practices towards onboarding activities for both employees and subcontractors alike.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7-10 years' experience in HSE leadership roles within oil & gas, mining, or heavy infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience managing HSE on greenfield or brownfield gas gathering, pipeline, or related civil construction projects.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in WHS, Environmental Management, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of Queensland HSE legislation and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
