The Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious water safety professional to join our team. As a key member of our aquatic centre's operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe enjoyment of all patrons.

You will have a passion for water safety and possess excellent communication skills. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun, with the ability to interact effectively with students of diverse ages, abilities, cultures and needs.

This role requires a strong commitment to customer service excellence and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verbal communication skills with a focus on safety awareness
  • Understanding of occupational health and safety principles and applications
  • Ability to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as a valuable team member
  • Current first aid (level 2) certification
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Blue card
  • Current pool lifeguard certification
