Work Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinator Role

We are seeking a dedicated WHS Coordinator to support our National Safety Team at a facility level.

This exciting opportunity involves working across two unique facilities: Nambour Selangor Private Hospital and Noosa Private Hospital.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Embed and maintain our safety management system, templates, and documentation.
  • Investigate incidents and implement solutions to minimize future risks.
  • Conduct risk assessments, site audits, and workplace safety training.
  • Develop and maintain effective safety practices.
  • Prepare and present safety performance reports for internal stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety (minimum of Cert IV in WHS).
  • Experience in Work Health and Safety, preferably within the health industry or a large organization.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with teams at all levels.
  • Proactive and highly organized approach to managing multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent planning, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Full Australian work rights, current Police Check, and proof of immunization against infectious diseases.
