Lead Area Manager Position

This is a dynamic leadership role in the area of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), encompassing Before and After School Care, Vacation Care. You will report directly to the National Programs Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage OSHC teams in schools with strong leadership skills.
  • Oversee all aspects of service management, including staff management, program design support, business operations.
  • Conduct Educator appraisals to ensure growth and development.
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with educators, principals, school staff, parents, regulatory authorities, and suppliers.
  • Prepare and support educators for Assessment and Rating reviews.
  • Monthly reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Past people management experience in childcare or a related field is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated area management or remote team management experience is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for building strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Proven past success in management with measurable outcomes is required.
  • Current NSW and QLD Working with Children's Check, First Aid HLTAID012, and Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain.
  • Current driver's license and own car (travel allowance provided).
  • Completed a Diploma or above in Child Care, Education, Community Services, or equivalent.
