Job Role Summary

As a high-performing Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for leading transaction diligence engagements in Melbourne. This role involves identifying key value drivers, challenging assumptions about future performance, and providing advice on hidden value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct due diligence engagements related to acquisitions or disposals of businesses by private equity investors or strategic corporate buyers.
  • Analyse financial/operational results of targets through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management.
  • Project manage information flows and manage key stakeholders.
  • Identify and analyse key value drivers to deliver financial and commercial insights that directly impact deal value and structuring.
  • Based on your analysis, write up your findings and recommendations.
  • Assist Partners and Directors with business development activities and initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics.
  • Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or international equivalent.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative team environment.
  • Highly analytical individuals who enjoy solving deal value questions within short deal timelines.
