Our goal is to hire a Rehabilitation Specialist who can work with injured workers, employers, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement rehabilitation plans that support individuals in returning to employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cases of injured workers requiring physical and/or psychological support to return to employment
  • Collaborate with health professionals, employers, and other stakeholders to develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans
  • Conduct assessments, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite assessments, ergonomic assessments, and activities of daily living assessments
  • Support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations through sustainable employment, independence, better health and wellbeing, and increased social participation

Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body
  • Occupational Rehabilitation experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Nursing
  • Strong clinical reasoning
  • Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
  • Passion to help people rehabilitate
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
