About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Manager to join our Sunshine sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling compact construction equipment to customers within a designated geographic area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the company in the sale of equipment to customers within a specified territory.
  • Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
  • Implement and maintain regular call cycles within a given area of responsibility.
  • Monitor competitive activity/products and timely communicate to management.
  • Maintain all customer information in assigned territory for sales management.
  • Achieve sales objectives set by Brandt as part of the sales planning process.
  • Maintain assigned company vehicles and equipment.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of customer events.
  • Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
  • Monitor trends in customer's business activities and timely communicate to management.
  • Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
  • Attend applicable sales training events/seminars.
  • Report to Brandt as directed, including by way of sales reports as managers require.
  • Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
Requirements
  • Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment is considered an asset.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
  • Must be able to obtain or have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
