Expert Employee Relations Professional

We are seeking an Employee Relations expert to play a critical role in supporting our business strategy by providing ER leadership and advice across employment law.
About the RoleIn this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for:
- Providing ER advice for new business initiatives and projects;
- Managing the bargaining cycle for enterprise agreements, including strategy formation, planning, pre-negotiation, negotiation, implementation and approval;
- Leading enterprise agreement negotiations;
- Undertaking advocacy at the Fair Work Commission related to enterprise agreement bargaining, dispute resolution and/or industrial action;
- Monitoring the external ER environment to identify key trends/issues that may impact our organization;
- Identifying, managing and supporting compliance work and regulatory authority matters;
- Engaging with external trade unions, employer associations and other relevant external parties.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong proven experience in employee relations/employment law, including a legal qualification;
- The ability to develop and implement strategic ER plans to assist our organization achieve its goals/business strategy;
- Experience and understanding of the ER factors impacting a retail and supply chain environment;
- Experience in dealing with unions and industrial tribunals;
- Strong stakeholder management, internal networking potential, and influencing skills;
- Experience in negotiating enterprise agreements, including preparatory phases related to effective bargaining;
- A team player with demonstrated experiences in working with various stakeholders and varied business partners.
