Job Description
  • Provide expert guidance on workplace policies and employee relations.
  • Lead a small team, managing grievance and performance cases.
  • Support managers with interpreting employment legislation and agreements.
  • Assist in resolving workplace disputes and employee grievances.
  • Contribute to developing HR policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with workplace laws.
  • Coordinate external services to support case referrals and advisory matters.
  • Deliver training sessions on workplace relations as needed.

The Successful Applicant Should Possess:

  • A background in human resources, employment law, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment legislation and workplace relations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex cases.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in handling sensitive workplace matters with confidentiality.
  • A proactive approach to delivering tailored workplace advice.
  • The ability to work effectively in a public sector environment.

Victoria Public Service Experience Is Mandatory.
