Paediatric Triage Specialist

The position focuses on establishing a paediatric clinical triage process to address waitlists and meet family needs.

  • Develop and implement effective triage systems for complex referrals to the Child Health Team.
  • Design and evaluate a 12-month paediatric clinical triage initiative to enhance waitlist management and family outcomes.
  • Utilise clinical expertise to assess and triage referrals, including face-to-face assessments and group sessions as required.
About This Role

This is a fixed-term opportunity requiring collaboration with a multidisciplinary team that values teamwork and empathy. The successful candidate will support the development of paediatric triage processes to ensure timely and appropriate care.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification, eligibility to hold and maintain membership with relevant professional bodies, and demonstrated experience as a paediatric Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist providing assessment and intervention.
