Working to support the Child Health Team, you will be responsible for providing clinical triage for complex referrals to the Child Health Team (Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy). In response to increasing demand for Paediatric Allied Health services in our catchment, we are implementing a 12-month clinical triage position to respond to our waitlists and better respond to the needs of our families.

We are seeking an experienced Grade 2 Paediatric Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist to support the implementation and evaluation of this initiative. If you are a high-performing professional who is self-motivated and enjoys the challenges of developing and implementing new processes to ensure great outcomes for our children and families, this could be the position for you.

Candidates must hold:

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • Eligibility to hold and maintain membership with Speech Pathology Australia / AHPRA
  • Demonstrated experience working as a paediatric Speech Pathologist / Occupational Therapist to provide assessment and intervention.

The fine print

  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check upon commencement and 3 yearly thereafter, and International Police Check (if applicable),
  • Required to hold a valid employment WWCC
  • Full driver license and requirement to work across all DPV Health sites as required
