Safety and Compliance Specialist

Metricon Homes, Australia's largest home builder, is seeking a dedicated Workplace Health and Safety Professional to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating site inspections, providing guidance on safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety Management Systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing and maintaining Work Health and Safety Management Systems
- Facilitating site inspections and providing guidance on safety protocols
- Completing reporting on WHS performance and providing WHS advice to Site Managers
- Identifying WHS training requirements for site staff
- Assisting with assessment of subcontractor documentation and new contractor pack submissions
- Facilitating workplace inspections and internal audits

The successful candidate will have:
- Completed Diploma Occupational Health and Safety
- Hold a White Card, trade or scaffold ticket
- Completed qualifications in a First Aid Certificate
- Residential construction experience
- Extensive knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety Management Systems and relevant WHS Acts and Regulations
This role requires a national police check and medical check to be undertaken by the successful applicant.
