Community Care Support Role

We are seeking an experienced Community Care Support Officer to join our team in Katherine, Northern Territory.

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to staff working across various community services programs.
  • Ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks across all community care sites.
  • Maintain essential records and manage supplier lists as needed.
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes, and provide regular updates to the Community Care Zone Manager – South.
  • Coordinate meetings with community services team leaders to address needs.
  • Travel regularly to remote communities to provide on-site support.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in administration, coordination, and facilitation.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a respectful and culturally sensitive approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in remote, culturally diverse environments.
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for undertaking varied tasks that support wellbeing.
