Project Administrator for Public Transport Access

We are seeking a skilled Project Administrator to join our team at the Public Transport Authority (PTA). As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our rail network.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing corridor and third-party access administration, as well as supporting medium-risk projects within our land and freight rail corridors. This will involve project administration, coordinating access for third-party users, organizing meetings and working groups, and providing specialist advice on project issues.
You will also respond to enquiries, assist in problem-solving, and produce project reports to support effective project delivery and compliance with PTA requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Manage corridor and third-party access administration
- Support medium-risk projects within our land and freight rail corridors
- Coordinate access for third-party users
- Organize meetings and working groups
- Provide specialist advice on project issues
- Respond to enquiries
- Assist in problem-solving
- Produce project reports
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation and/or lease arrangements relating to railway land
- Understanding of utility services and their management within rail reserves
- Understanding of, and experience in project administration and contract management
- Experience in Crown and fee simple land processes and procedures
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships and work effectively in team environments
- Well-developed research, conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to present information
- Well-developed organisational skills
- Ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Effective use of PC applications including Word, Excel, and other database applications

The estimated annual salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
