The Aboriginal Child Protection Caseworker plays a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable children and their families. Working collaboratively with various agencies, caseworkers engage in complex problem-solving to address safety and well-being concerns.
Key responsibilities include assisting families in formulating goals that align with their needs, providing home visits, developing safety plans, and completing risk assessments.
Caseworkers must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to build positive working relationships. They should also hold a relevant diploma or degree qualification, or have at least two years' experience working with vulnerable children, young people, and their families.
