About the Role

As a Provisional Psychologist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality evidence-based clinical care to adults aged 18 and above experiencing mental health concerns and their families and carers.

  • Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive intake and assessments, including risk assessments, care treatment planning, coordination with internal and external services, and providing brief psychological interventions.
Requirements
  • Must have one of the following: Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist OR AASW registration/eligibility as a Social Worker (ideal for graduate Social Workers looking to build skills in mental health).
  • Thorough knowledge of theory underpinning evidence-based interventions and clinical practice, with demonstrated excellence in application areas such as mental health and alcohol/drug use.
  • Excellent communication (including written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to engage effectively with people, advocate on their behalf, and establish/maintain relationships with staff, clients, families, friends, and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using electronic client/customer management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Eligible for WWCC and NDIS worker screening clearance.
