Mental Health Professionals Wanted

We are seeking a mental health professional to join our multidisciplinary team at a Western NSW Medicare Mental Health Centre in Dubbo and Bathurst.
This centre provides free, safe and welcoming spaces for mental health advice, supports and services.
About the RoleAs a member of our team, you will deliver high-quality evidence-based clinical care.
You will conduct intake and assessments, including risk assessments, care treatment planning, care coordination with internal and external services, and provide brief psychological intervention.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with clients to provide assessment and intervention within a multidisciplinary setting
- Coordinate care with internal and external services and document appropriately
- Must have one of the following: Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, OR AASW registration/eligibility as a Social Worker (suitable for graduate Social Worker seeking mental health experience)
- Knowledge and understanding of evidence-based interventions and clinical practice in mental health and substance use
- Highly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage with people, advocate on their behalf and establish and maintain relationships with staff, clients, families, friends and stakeholders
- Experience with electronic client/customer management systems, desktop computer proficiency, and Microsoft Office
- Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC
- Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
