Clinical Service Specialist

This position is part of our multidisciplinary team that delivers high-quality clinical care to achieve better health outcomes for adults aged 18 years and over who experience mental health concerns and their families and carers.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting intake and assessments, including risk assessments, care treatment planning, care coordination with internal and external services, and providing brief psychological intervention.
The ideal candidate will have one of the following qualifications: Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist OR AASW registration/eligibility as a Social Worker (suitable for graduate Social Workers wanting to build skills in the mental health field).
Key skills required include:
- Flexibility to work afternoons & evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Knowledge & understanding of the theory underpinning evidence-based interventions & clinical practice as well as demonstrated excellence in the practical application of such, in the areas of mental health and alcohol and drug use.
- Highly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage with people, advocate on their behalf and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, families & friends and stakeholders.
- Experience in the use of electronic client/customer management systems, ability to use a desktop computer, and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Eligibility to apply/currently hold a WWCC.
- Holding/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
