Regional Healthcare Professional Opportunity

This role presents a unique chance for a medical practitioner to deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a regional setting.

  • Responsibilities include assessing and managing patients across Acute and Urgent Care emergency departments.
  • Providing urgent medical assistance to residential aged care facilities as required.
  • Applying evidence-based clinical practice in planning and delivering treatment.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement, education, and safe patient care practices.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation, handovers, and discharge summaries.
  • Undertaking on-call requirements, predominantly involving Triage Categories 1-3.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent) recognized by the Australian Medical Council.
  • General Registration with APHRA.
  • Successful completion of Australian Medical Council Part 1 and Part 2 Exams.
  • A minimum of 5 years' clinical experience in general acute and/or emergency medicine.
