  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across our Urgent Care Centre, Acute Ward, and Residential Aged Care Facilities, including any secondment sites.">
  • You will be leading a multidisciplinary team that's passionate about delivering exceptional healthcare to our local community.">

About the Role:

  1. ">
  2. Assess and manage patients across Acute and Urgent Care emergencies">
  3. Provide urgent medical assistance to residential aged care as required">
  4. Apply evidence-based clinical practice in planning and delivering treatment">
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams">
  6. Contribute to continuous improvement, teaching, and safe patient care">
  7. Provide accurate and timely documentation, handovers, and discharge summaries">
  8. Undertake on-call requirements (for predominantly Triage Categories 1-3, Categories 4-5 are nursing led and assisted by VVED)">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent), recognised by the Australian Medical Council">
  • General Registration with APHRA">
  • Succesful completion of Australian Medical Council (AMC) Part 1 and Part 2 Exams">
  • Clinical experience of 5 years or more in general acute and/or emergency medicine">
  • Fellowship with ACEM, RACGP or RACP (desired)">
  • Experience working in a rural or regional healthcare setting (desired)">
  • Previous clinical experience in the Australian healthcare system (desired)">
