We are seeking a compassionate and flexible Support Professional to join our Southern Tasmanian Operations team. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality support services to people with disability and their families.

Job Summary:

This casual Support Professional position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals with varying degrees of care needs, working independently or as part of a team. Your expertise and passion for supporting individuals with disabilities will make a tangible difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality support services, prioritising the needs and goals of each individual.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Person-Centred Plans, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to organisational standards.

Requirements:

  • A current and unrestricted driver's licence is mandatory for this role.
  • A strong desire to positively impact individuals with disabilities and a commitment to promoting their individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals.
  • Understanding, ability, and willingness to implement Person-Centred Practices.
  • Personal qualities of empathy, resilience, and patience.
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment.
  • IT skills to a level where you can use the Microsoft Office suite, complete shift reports, maintain communication diaries, and program notes.
  • Sound communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Desire and commitment towards working with people from diverse cultures.
  • Good standards of professional behaviour.

Salary and Benefits:
