Job Description

The role of Manager, City Central And Activation is a strategic leadership position that involves providing concierge and front-line support services to students, staff, industry partners, and the community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the identity and vibrancy of the UNSW Canberra City Precinct by providing strategic leadership for the City Central service point and coordinating with diverse teams to create an engaging environment.

This includes driving engagement programs to enhance the experience of all precinct users and supervising a team to foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant tertiary degree with extensive management expertise and relevant experience or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through a combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing programs, developing, reviewing, or evaluating significant policies, programs, or initiatives related to stakeholder engagement, student services, and/or site activation.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, influence, and guide staff, and foster collaboration across teams and programs.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders, including senior management, industry leaders, and community representatives, to foster collaboration and support precinct activation and engagement goals.
