About the Role

The primary purpose of this role is to effectively manage and grow the allocated portfolio of customers within the civil and rail industry. This includes ensuring high levels of customer and employee satisfaction, achieving safety and sales targets, and enhancing operational efficiency through diligent project management and adherence to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.

You will be required to proactively engage with employees and clients, identify and recruit top talent, and implement innovative solutions to drive safety and business growth. By fulfilling these responsibilities, the role supports the strategic objectives of the organization and contributes to its success in the civil and rail sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts
  • Identify and convert prospective customers
  • Recruit high-performing candidates
  • Conduct safety conversations and toolbox talks & other safety engagements
  • Perform safeworking interactions and workplace drug/alcohol testing
  • Investigate incidents, develop incident report, set and manage corrective actions
  • Plan & coordinate projects being delivered across major projects including possessions/shut downs
  • Ensure job assignments are communicated
  • Deliver necessary PPE and equipment required for employees/projects
  • Attend site and perform safeworking duties for client sites
Requirements

To thrive in this position, you must have:

  • Proven experience in civil and rail operational or corporate business environments
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Excellent professional network in civil and rail and/or labour hire sectors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and career-oriented
  • Ability to act professionally in all circumstances

Additionally, you must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • General Construction Induction White Card
  • Rail Category 3 or 1 Medical or willing to obtain
  • Safely Access the Rail Corridor or willing to obtain
  • Workplace Drug and Alcohol Tester
  • Must be willing and able to travel across NSW and stay away from home up to 7 days at a time
  • Must be available to work all major possession weekends
