Metabolic Clinic Psychologist Position

Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to provide high-quality psychological services to patients in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based psychological services to patients, including assessments and therapeutic interventions.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to support consumers in decision-making for bariatric surgery.
- Assess readiness for bariatric surgery and deliver individual or group interventions to support patients in their metabolic journey.
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology approved by the relevant authority.
- Registration with the relevant professional body.
- Area of Practice Endorsement where required.
Favourable Criteria:
- Significant experience in complex medical environments providing psychological services for metabolic/bariatric patients.
- Endorsement by the relevant authority as a Health Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, or Clinical Neuropsychologist.
- Postgraduate degree in Health Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Clinical Neuropsychology.
