Metabolic Clinics Psychologist

As a dynamic and experienced psychologist, you will provide psychological services to patients in various settings. Your primary responsibility is to deliver evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions that cater to the needs of our clients.
The ideal candidate will possess strong collaboration skills, enabling them to work effectively with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders. Your ability to assess readiness for bariatric surgery and develop individualized plans will be essential in supporting patients on their metabolic journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality assessments and therapeutic interventions in accordance with best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Tertiary qualification or program of study approved by the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia is mandatory.
- Area of Practice Endorsement may be required (e.g., Health Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology).
- Significant experience in complex medical environments providing psychological services for metabolic/bariatric patients.
- Endorsement by the Psychology Board of Australia as a Health Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, or Clinical Neuropsychologist.
- Postgraduate degree in Health Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Clinical Neuropsychology.
