Practice Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced Practice Development Lead to drive the improvement of staff knowledge and practice interventions through targeted projects.

The role combines systems activities, higher-level practice responsibilities, and coaching to build nuanced and accountable ways of working with families and young people.

The Practice Development Lead will lead all quality compliance and acute client risk management. As a leader, we believe in guiding teams through showing and doing, not delegating and micro-managing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and project manage targeted improvements in staff workflow cycles based on best practice research and reviewing implementation with staff and caseloads.
  • Lead the structured development of guides outlining step-by-step processes for staff.
  • Develop an annual training plan focused on improving staff skills, stakeholder engagement, professionalism, and conflict resolution.
  • Provide comprehensive assessments of staff pedagogy and work practices, tailoring solutions and coaching on evidenced assessment.
  • Meet mandatory reporting requirements for child safety incidents, supporting staff and endorsing approvals within specified timeframe.
  • Assist in the development and ongoing refinement of program logic, adjusting measures against new changes in processes.
  • Systematise and digitise case management operations to improve data tracking and monitoring of deliverables.
