Job Title: Maintenance Manager

The role of Maintenance Manager involves a diverse range of tasks to ensure the facility remains well-maintained and welcoming. Key responsibilities include performing general maintenance, repairs, and minor renovations, as well as maintaining buildings, plumbing, roofs, and equipment.

  • Maintenance tasks may involve carrying out small repairs including painting, window/door rollers, curtain tracks, and light bulb replacements.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for looking after A/C filters, call bell testing, gardening, and reticulation.
  • Supporting staff with safe chemical handling and training is also an essential aspect of this role.
  • In addition, delegates tasks to the maintenance cleaning team where needed and plays an active role in our continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have experience in facilities management, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing maintenance plans to ensure the facility remains in good working order.
  • Monitoring and controlling costs associated with maintenance activities.
  • Collaborating with staff to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
  • Providing training and guidance to maintenance staff as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and reporting on progress.

Requirements:
