Job Title: Security and Facilities Management Professional

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing Commonwealth Security and Facilities management, as well as business support services at Navy Capability Centre in Henderson WA. This role involves supervising an Admin Support Officer and Business Support Officers, with responsibilities including working as Assistant Security and Facilities Officer.

This position reports to the Business Manager and is part of the Commercial Group business team of the Anzac SPO.

About our Team

The Anzac Systems Program Office (Anzac SPO) is within the Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group / Maritime Sustainment Division / Major Surface Ships Branch. The Anzac SPO is located at Henderson, WA.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience as a Security Officer in Defence or extensive knowledge of security requirements;
  • Demonstrated experience as a Facility manager with understanding of Defence estates services or experience in property management;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and negotiate with influence both internal and external stakeholders;
  • The ready ability to work in a busy and demanding workplace whilst managing multiple competing requirements;
  • Demonstrated experience supervising staff and experience with having difficult or challenging conversations.
