Facilities Management Professional

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced facilities professional to oversee the management of departmental facilities and building maintenance schedules.
A state government organization based in Perth CBD is seeking a qualified individual to join their team. The successful candidate will be predominantly based in Perth CBD, with occasional requirements to work out of the Northern Suburbs office.
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors and facilities management staff around building maintenance and assets
- Managing the sites' emergency systems and procedures
- Coordinating vehicle and parking arrangements on site
- Allocating access cards to site staff and visitors
- Updating and maintaining the database with maintenance reports
- Providing inductions for staff, contractors and volunteers on site
To succeed in this position, candidates must demonstrate:
- Experience in building, construction or facilities management work
- Qualification in facilities management, mechanical, electrical or building related work
- An understanding of minor, routine and reactive maintenance work
- Strong IT skills with confidence using MS Office Excel, Outlook and Word
- Good communication skills
- Possession of a WA drivers' licence and vehicle
