Job Title: Spare Parts Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to customers by providing accurate and timely information related to their spare parts needs.

About the Role:
  • You will be the primary point of contact for customer enquiries, responding promptly and professionally via face-to-face interactions or over the phone.
  • Locate spare parts for customers and technicians efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding jobs related to spare parts inquiries and customer concerns, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Utilize a variety of digital and print resources to interpret spare parts requirements, maintaining accurate records and updating systems accordingly.
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of the warehouse by receiving, picking, and dispatching spare parts in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all company accounts receivable processes are adhered to in relation to spare parts sales transactions.
  • Assist with maintaining display areas and ensuring stock is clean and organized.
About You:
  • Preferably, you have mechanical knowledge and a background in earthmoving and/or automotive, although this is not essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a positive attitude are crucial in this role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications is required, as well as experience working with different systems/databases.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are also essential.
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar products is preferred but not mandatory.
