This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing the day-to-day maintenance of a diverse fleet of farm machinery.
- Oversee routine maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Manage workshop budgets, inventory, and spare parts procurement to optimize resource allocation.
- Liaise with centralized maintenance crews and external contractors as needed to maintain efficient operations.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A mechanical background, preferably in agriculture or horticulture.
- Strong safety awareness and experience managing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
- Financial acumen, including budget management and inventory control.
