
Agricultural Equipment Specialist

A leader within the agricultural industry seeks a hands-on Maintenance Team Leader to step into a critical role on one of their flagship farms.
This position combines technical work with forward planning, overseeing a broad range of equipment including tractors, ATVs, specialist harvesting machinery, sprayers, fertiliser spreaders, and chainsaws.
You'll be responsible for leading day-to-day maintenance and servicing, managing workshop budgets, spare parts, and inventory levels, developing and enforcing safety standards, and contributing to seasonal planning and preparation.
We're seeking a trade-qualified mechanical background individual with proven ability to manage workshop safety, strong organisational and problem-solving skills, financial acumen, and leadership qualities.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive base salary, 10% annual bonus, overtime during harvest season paid in addition to salary, and relocation support could be available.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day maintenance and servicing of a diverse fleet of farm machinery and equipment
- Manage workshop budgets, spare parts, and inventory levels
- Develop and enforce safety standards, including SOPs, JSAs, and workshop procedures
- Oversee and mentor workshop staff, while liaising with centralised maintenance crews and contractors
- Contribute to seasonal planning and preparation to ensure uninterrupted farm operations
