Job Title: Executive Chef Assistant - Melbourne Opportunity

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum

This role offers the unique chance to be part of launching the Hyatt House brand in Australia. As an Executive Chef Assistant, you will work within our Food and Beverage team to support the Chef de Partie, ensuring all employees deliver a high standard of service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • To embrace all Touches of Hyatt and the Food and Beverage Top 20, ensuring its implementation.
  • To respond to the results of the Consumer Audit and ensure relevant changes are implemented.
  • To ensure that all dishes from the section are prepared consistently and according to standard recipes.
  • To assist the Senior chef in ensuring culinary standards comply with Company and Hotel Policies and Procedures and Minimum Standards.
  • To monitor food and operating costs by reducing wastage.
  • To become familiar with all sections of the kitchen to facilitate flexible use of employees.
  • To ensure that kitchen and operating equipment is maintained to a good standard with minimum breakage.
