Job Summary

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join their team in the Asset Management division. The successful candidate will have a strong background in funds management and tax accounting, with a focus on delivering high-quality tax reporting and compliance services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and timely tax reporting and compliance services to clients.
  • Review and analyze tax calculations, superannuation fund tax returns, and other tax-related documents.
  • Manage client relationships and communicate with auditors throughout the tax audit process.
  • Develop and maintain client tax profiles and security static data used to drive reporting and tax calculations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure adherence to operational compliance and risk policies.
  • Contribute to the completion of projects, including testing of tax templates and providing tax training to the team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar Tax Accounting role, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with a focus on funds management and asset management.
  • Degree qualified in a relevant field, such as Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • CPA/CA certification is highly desirable.

What We Offer

A competitive salary package, including a base salary between $85-100k, superannuation, and bonus, depending on relevant experience.
