**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Sexual Health Nurse to join our team in the Enhanced Syphilis Response Program (ESRP) role. The successful candidate will support the implementation of targeted screening of men across the Central Australian regions, including Congress town and remote clinics and selected NTG remote communities dependent on need and current notification data.
This is a service delivery position with considerable time spent on clinical activities, both in the clinic and outreach. These activities include the undertaking of screening, prevention, treatment and monitoring of sexually transmissible infections (STIs) in the Central Australian region with a particular focus on addressing the current syphilis outbreak.
The tasks are conducted with the ongoing supervision; support and mentoring of the Sexual Health Coordinator to ensure appropriate clinical practice, and develop specialist skills and knowledge within the Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus field.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Undertake targeted screening of men across the Central Australian regions
* Implement prevention, treatment and monitoring programs for sexually transmissible infections (STIs)
* Work closely with the Sexual Health Coordinator to ensure appropriate clinical practice and develop specialist skills and knowledge
**Salary and Benefits**
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of **$103,759 - $110,838 per annum**, plus district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax savings from salary packaging options.
