The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of targeted screening of men across the Central Australian regions, including Congress town and remote clinics. This service delivery position involves considerable time spent on clinical activities, both in the clinic and outreach settings.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Undertaking screening, prevention, treatment, and monitoring of sexually transmissible infections (STIs) in the Central Australian region, with a particular focus on addressing the current syphilis outbreak.
  • Providing ongoing supervision, support, and mentoring to the Sexual Health Coordinator to ensure appropriate clinical practice and develop specialist skills and knowledge within the Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus field.

We offer a competitive remuneration package, including an estimated salary range of $103,759 - $110,838 per annum, as well as district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax savings from salary packaging options.
