We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team in the Children's Audiology Service as an Administrative Support role. This position is part-time (0.9 FTE) until 1 September 2025.

About the Role

The Administrative Officer will be responsible for providing administrative and reception support to the Children's Audiology Service departments, as well as supporting the administration needs of the Children's Audiology Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Children's Audiology Service departments, including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
  • Assist with the coordination of appointments, meetings, and events.
  • Provide reception support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
  • Support the administration needs of the Children's Audiology Service Manager, including preparing reports and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with consumers, staff, and external agencies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
