About the Role


The Aboriginal Pathway Program Regional Tutor is a part-time fixed-term contract position, responsible for providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students enrolled in AP programs in regional areas.


As an Aboriginal Pathway Program Regional Education Specialist, you will contribute to student support, quality assurance, and improvement. You will promote and represent the AP programs within and external to the University, developing and maintaining strategic relationships with external stakeholders and communities.


You will deliver teaching materials and ongoing tutorial support for students, implementing appropriate teaching approaches to promote student learning and engagement. Additionally, you will engage in student consultation, participate in marking and grade moderation, and collaborate with the Program Director to ensure program effectiveness.


This role requires relevant tertiary qualifications, a sound understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students' needs, and a passion for equity and continuous improvement in enabling education.
